Lil’ Wayne - Lollipop (Nasty Ways Remix)
San Francisco-based glitch-hop/IDM producers Eprom and Boreta (of The Glitch Mob) team up to form Nasty Ways and drop a remix of Lil Wayne’s “Lollipop” as their first track under this promising collaborative project. On this remix Nasty Ways chops and manipulates Weezy’s familiar lyrics and throw them over some on point glitched-out beats, chunky layers of both grimey and light synths, with a dash of feedback and dubby effects to create a relatively gentle and quixotic banger. Watch out for these cats as they’ll be massacring dancefloors and sound systems on the soon. Epic.
