Ron Paul doesn't believe in Evolution »

Check it out 2:40 into the video. Defend it or try desperately to downplay it. The slathering Ron Paul Internet Machine has become creepy to me. I get supporting who you think might be the best candidate, but in some circles the RP adulation has become thick enough to be comparable to the 25% hardliners who continue to support Bush no matter what.

I don’t mind Ron Paul himself, now I don’t support a number of his political views (the “jury’s still out” view of global warming, not supporting net neutrality, immigration views, etc) and don’t think they’d be good for the USA, but I appreciate him for what appears to be forthrightness and candor. I honestly think that’s what his appeal is; many of his “supporters” that I meet face to face actually don’t agree with most of his platform, they just feel he’s honest. It’s sad that our political state has come to this; voting for the dude who’s positions you don’t share simply because he’s the only one running (within his party) who doesn’t seem either totally full of crap or batshit crazy.

Edit: My apologies, a friend of mine sent this to me in an AIM conversation without attributing it to Josefek, all kudos go to him.
