Bisbee Photos

PICT2825

I’m back in business with my camera and just posted a new set on Flickr.

To test a bunch of other services I uploaded the same set to Zooomr, Ipernity, 23, Photorganizr, Google, Webshots, Phanfare, and Fotki.

I’m not sure which one I like best yet, but this would be a great way for you to take a look at the way each site’s interface looks.

Which site do you like best? And is there one I missed out on?

I think I like Flickr the best, I’d kill for a pro account.

If any of you use Zooomr add me! I’d rather use Flickr, but I don’t have a pro account there. I’m livejamie at both sites. http://is.gd/10K3

justwatchthesky is a new tumblelog from The Big Noob’s Ryan Sims that simply, and to great effect, highlights a single lyric from a song:

The scope is narrow: An exercise in documenting words in the music I listen to with color and type. The constraints are simple: (1) Only use Georgia (serif) or Helvetica (sans) and (2) try to post as often as possible.

If you can force yourself to stop ogling the typography, you might even notice that you can play the songs from which each lyric is taken. (via simplebits)

This is the most beautiful tumblelog I’ve seen in a really long time, very inspiring. I’d love to get involved with this.

“Interesting fact. We also have a really offensive looking Asian person mask that Ricky brought home from his vacation in Japan. We were going to use it, but ultimately decided it was too racist. People watching this video don’t know they’re missing out on Asian Bear, Asian Superman and Asian Table.”

A Royal Farewell in Bali. Everybody should add “The Big Picture” to your RSS Reader, it’s constantly incredible.

“The buttocks are the most aesthetically pleasing part of the body because they are non-functional. Although they conceal an essential orifice, these pointless globes are as near as the human form can ever come to abstract art.”
